This non-yellowing, acrylic resin-based varnish dries quickly to a crystal-clear protective layer. Spray from approximately 40 cm away in an even, back-and-forth motion. For best results, apply several thin coats over the work. After use, turn the can upside down and press the nozzle for about 1 second to clear it (prevents clogging).

Retouch or intermediate varnish can be used to brighten areas of an unfinished oil painting that have become dull (which can occur if the oil in the paint absorbs into the underlying layers). Apply a thin layer of retouch varnish to the dull area when the paint is touch-dry, and allow it to dry until the varnish is also touch-dry. After this, painting can continue on top of the intermediate varnish.
Intermediate varnish can also be used as a protective, temporary isolation coat when the work is not yet fully dry. Apply it as a thin layer – a too thick layer may potentially soften the underlying paint layer. However, a thin layer of intermediate varnish does not prevent the paint from fully drying; it simply slows down the drying process. The intermediate varnish can later be removed (using mineral spirits or balsam turpentine) or a final picture varnish can be applied over it as desired.

Talens French turpentine (turpentine rectified)
The finest quality available. It is an excellent solvent for thinning oil paints, various painting mediums, and varnishes, as well as for cleaning brushes and tools.
When added to oil paints, it should only be used in the first paint layer. If used undiluted in subsequent layers, it can make the layer too thin and increase the risk of cracking. Turpentine thins oil paint, making it leaner and duller, easier to adhere to the surface, and reduces brush marks. Store turpentine in a sealed bottle and preferably in a dark place to prevent resinification.

W&N Gloss Varnish Spray
W&N Gloss Varnish Spray is a glossy final varnish for oil and acrylic paintings, non-yellowing. It creates a protective film over the painting surface. Removable.
Instructions: Clean and remove any dirt/dust from your artwork’s surface. Spray the varnish approximately 30cm away, in even strokes over the surface of your painting. Apply 1-3 coats of varnish. Allow to dry.
Note: Apply varnish only when your painting is completely dry (for oil paintings, drying time is approximately 1-2 years, depending on the thickness of the paint layers).
If you need to protect your artwork earlier, use W&N Retouch Varnish (Intermediate Varnish).
