Arches 300 gsm rough, semi-rough, or smooth watercolor paper pad, 100% cotton. The pad contains twelve A4 (21 x 29.7 cm) sheets, glued on one side.

Arches Aquarelle is one of the world’s finest papers for wet techniques: it is especially suitable for watercolor, but also excellent for ink, gouache, acrylic paints, and mixed media. This traditionally cylinder-mould made watercolor paper has a beautiful, natural surface texture. Made from long, evenly distributed 100% cotton fibers, the paper absorbs a significant amount of water without the surface or structure deteriorating. Arches papers are thoroughly gelatin-sized, preventing tearing or pilling even with scrubbing or erasing. The paper also preserves the brightness and transparency of watercolors, as the gelatin sizing prevents excessive absorption of color into the paper. The paper is naturally white. Arches papers have excellent longevity, contain no optical brighteners, and are completely acid-free. They are also protected against mold.
