With Liquitex Professional Airbrush Medium, you can thin acrylic paint to a suitable consistency for use with an airbrush. You can also use the airbrush medium when you want to achieve watercolor-like surfaces with acrylic paints or thin the paint very finely without compromising its properties.
It is suitable for use with other acrylic mediums and all Liquitex products. If you use the product with Heavy Body acrylic paints, it is recommended to filter the mixture before use (especially with an airbrush).

On non-absorbent surfaces, it increases paint flow, extends drying time, and smooths brush strokes.
On absorbent surfaces (such as paper and untreated canvas), it enhances paint absorption, staining, and watercolor-like effects. It reduces the surface tension and friction of the paint. Can be used with any acrylic paint or acrylic medium.
Also suitable for watercolor-like techniques, where the color bleeds into adjacent colors like watercolor, and for thin, watercolor-like layers.

Liquitex Professional Satin Medium provides acrylic paints with a beautiful satin (semi-gloss) finish, enhances color depth and transparency. It improves the flow of thick paints and extends the color without compromising their properties – maintaining color durability and longevity. The medium can also be used as a non-removable satin varnish for acrylic paints and is excellent for lightweight materials as a collage adhesive and image transfer medium.
The medium can be thinned with water up to 25%. For best results, use distilled water.
You can mix the medium into the paint as much as desired to increase flow and transparency.

Liquitex Professional Crackle Paste allows you to create crackling effects in your artwork. The paste can be used as is, applied on top of other layers, or mixed with acrylic paint (15% paint, 85% paste). Do not thin with water or medium. Crackle Paste works best on rigid surfaces.
Apply a 5 – 10 mm layer of Crackle Paste onto the surface using a palette knife and let it dry for at least 24 hours. Thicker layers will result in more pronounced cracks, but they will also increase drying time. Do not attempt to speed up drying with a hair dryer, as this may prevent cracks from forming at all.

Liquitex Professional Flexible Modeling Paste is a paste made from 100% acrylic polymer and marble dust, used to create flexible shapes and structures. It hardens to a very tough yet flexible, matte, and opaque white surface suitable for slightly flexible surfaces. It can be used as is, mixed with paint, or painted over once dried.
It dries slower than other modeling pastes and shrinks very little, if at all. It is suitable as a ground for acrylic, oil, and watercolor paints, as well as for dry pastels.
Usage:
- Apply with a palette knife or other tools.
- Can be tinted with acrylic paints.
- Can be handled like clay – remove the cap and allow some of the water content in the product to evaporate until the consistency is suitable for your purpose.
- To create sculptural textures, it’s best to build layers gradually, applying thin layers one at a time and allowing each to dry before adding a new layer.
- To avoid cracking, dry slowly – loosely cover with plastic wrap and allow to dry. Any cracks that may appear can be repaired by applying a thin layer of the product over the dried layer.

Liquitex Professional Slow-Dri Medium extends the “open” or working time of acrylic paints by up to 40% compared to normal, making it easier to create blends and gradients, and increases transparency. With the medium, you can extend the paint without compromising its properties.
Usage:
- You can thin the medium with water (max 25%).
- You can mix Slow-Dri Medium into acrylic paints and other painting mediums as much as needed to achieve the right consistency. The more medium you use, the more transparent and thinner the paint becomes.
- You can mix the medium with the paint on the palette to keep the paints usable for longer without the colors “skinning” on the palette.

Liquitex Slow-Dri Fluid Additive slows down the drying time of acrylic paints by up to 40% without altering the paint’s opacity. It can be mixed directly into paint or painting mediums. It lowers the viscosity of the paint.
Note! Add a maximum of 25% Slow-Dri Fluid Additive to paint or medium – using too much may cause cracking of the paint film and potential shrinkage.
