You don’t necessarily need to clean the plate between prints, but if desired, you can wash it with mild soap and water.

White opaque ink, visible on dark backgrounds, ideal for highlights and corrections. The ink becomes waterproof once dried.
Instructions for use: If the ink in the unused state has stiffened in the jar, it can be softened to a fluid consistency by stirring with a stick, for example. Water can be added to achieve the desired consistency. Protect the ink from drying out by securely closing the cap. Store at room temperature and avoid direct sunlight.
Water-based, waterproof drawing ink. These inks are not pigment-based, so their lightfastness is not the highest.
Recommended for use with dip pens and brushes; tools can be cleaned with water. If the ink dries on tools, denatured alcohol and soapy water can be used to dissolve the color. The binder used is shellac.
