Nitram B is the soft charcoal in the series, ideal for creating deep black marks in drawing. Its excellent adhesion makes it perfect for blending tones and retaining details.

The special feature of Nitram charcoals is that they are slightly harder than willow charcoal and maintain their sharpness better. This allows for more precise work. Similar charcoal was used in 19th-century model drawings.
