Liquitex Slow-Dri Gel Additive 237ml

Liquitex Professional Slow-Dri Gel Additive extends the “open” or working time of acrylic paints by up to 40% without altering the paint’s transparency. It increases viscosity and thickens the paint, leaving visible brush or palette knife strokes.

Usage:

• Add to paint or other painting materials (medium) up to 25%. Do not add more to avoid compromising the paint’s properties. Do not add to other additives.
• Mix the additive carefully and slowly into the paint or medium, for example, with a palette knife, and use.

NOTE: The additive does not contain binders and should not be added to paint more than 25% or to other additives. Excessive use of the additive can weaken the surface of acrylic paint, leaving the finish sticky and prone to wrinkling.
