    The best thinner for artist use! Odorless, slow-evaporating thinner for thinning Gamblin mediums and oils and speeding up drying. Also suitable for oiling out works with a 1:1 Gamsol + Galkyd mixture to deepen sunken colors. Slow evaporating. High flashpoint reduces fire risk. Does not easily absorb through healthy skin!

    Not suitable for use with dammar resin.

    Also suitable for oil-based relief and intaglio inks.

    Gel printing plates, various sizes

    Gel printing plate for creating prints on paper and even fabric. Use with water-based colors, such as acrylic paints.

    Instructions:

    1. Remove the protective film from the plate and apply a small amount of color to the plate—just a pea-sized amount is sufficient.
    2. Roll the color on to the plate.
    3. If you want patterns in your work, you can use items such as texture combs, stencils, pieces of string, bubble wrap, cut-out paper shapes, etc. The possibilities with gel printing are endless!
    4. Avoid scratching or scraping the plate. Transfer the color to paper by gently rubbing. Thinner papers are easier to handle, but almost any paper will work.

    You don’t necessarily need to clean the plate between prints, but if desired, you can wash it with mild soap and water.
