Semi-gloss finish final varnish for oil and acrylic paintings, non-yellowing. Creates a protective film over the painting surface. Enhances the brilliance of colors. Removable.
Instructions: Clean and remove any dirt/dust from your artwork’s surface. Spray the varnish approximately 30cm away, in even strokes over the surface of your painting. Apply 1-3 coats of varnish. Allow to dry.
Note: Apply varnish only when your painting is completely dry (for oil paintings, drying time is approximately 1-2 years, depending on the thickness of the paint layers).
If you need to protect your artwork earlier, use W&N Retouch Varnish (Intermediate Varnish).

Ox gall liquid is used for smooth washes, and when mixed directly with watercolour, it improves the flow of colour. Ox gall reduces surface tension and can be used to treat the surface of hard-sized papers to help watercolour adhere better. For paper treatment, add 3-4 drops of the liquid to a cup of water.
