Amsterdam modeling paste – a sculpting/texture paste for creating various textured surfaces. Modeling paste is an extremely thick painting medium that allows you to create different textures and three-dimensional surfaces on the painting base. When dry, it forms a good painting surface for acrylic and oil paintings, for example.

Note! If you want to create thick three-dimensional layers, mix about 30% Heavy Gel Medium with the modeling paste. This prevents the base layer from cracking as it dries. Use the gel medium and modeling paste mixture especially on flexible surfaces, such as canvas.

Modeling paste is opaque white, so when mixed directly with paint, it will lighten the color.
