Princeton Wedge Texturing Comb, Silicone

Princeton Catalyst™ Wedge texturing combs are ergonomically designed silicone tools that fit perfectly in hand, allowing direct interaction between the artist and their work. These combs can be used like palette knives and are ideal for preparing large painting surfaces. They are excellent for creating various surface textures and patterns with thick acrylic paints and impasto techniques; the texturing possibilities with these tools are almost limitless.

Artists also use these combs with ceramics, plaster, clay, and other sculpting materials as sculpting and modeling tools. The tools are heat resistant (up to 232°C). Cleaning Catalyst tools is easy: the silicone is easy to wipe clean and solvent resistant. The tools can be washed with mild soap and water or cleaned in the dishwasher. Dried paint can also be easily peeled off the silicone surface.

The tools are made from FDA-approved silicone, making all Catalyst series products safe for food use, which makes them ideal for baking as well. They can be used for decorative cooking and cake decorating, especially with fondant, sugar art, frosting, icing, and glazes.
